Fifty and Fabulous Concert

Every time we have organised a School Production, we are left with this overwhelming pride of our students. This year we cannot find enough superlatives to do them justice.

During rehearsals there is always that bit of nervous anticipation about how things may turn out. Will the singers, dancers, actors remember their parts? Will they carry on even if they don’t? Will the costumes work with the songs, dances and acts? As producers and directors we understand what is at stake for the students. They take risks in performing in front of an unknown audience. They take risks where many others do not.

The cast of this year’s concert were FABULOUS.

They banded together to create magic on stage. The feedback from the audience has been awesome. So many of them commented on it being a special night. Almost everyone was singing or mouthing along to the words of the songs, laughing at the skits and dancing along.

Thank you to all who supported this event. It truly was a fabulous and memorable night.

2014 Rollins Primary School Mural

VCAL students designed and painted an educational marine themed mural for Rollins Primary School at the end of 2014. Although the north facing wall got hot with the sun beaming on us each day the mural was completed in the prep area for students to enjoy. The Personal Development Skills task run by Mr Pugh and student Branko Alavanja was a success for a number of students who worked as a team to complete it. Congratulations!
