Geelong Harmony Chorus are one of the Geelong region’s premier a cappella ensembles. We are a diverse and vibrant group of women who, through the joy of 4part a cappella harmony, strive to enrich the lives of our members and audiences with beautiful harmonies that touch the heart. Geelong Harmony’s motto is, ‘Harmony with Heart’. We are non-political, non-denominational, and not-for-profit. You can find out more about us on our website: www.geelongharmony.com.au
Our chorus is actively recruiting new members of all adult age groups, and we thought this may appeal to parents from your school community. Singing in a group has been shown to have significant social and mental / physical health benefits. We would like to place an invitation to parents in your school newsletter or noticeboard to attend a Geelong Harmony rehearsal to see what it’s like and ascertain if we’re the group for them.
Here is the notice: “If you love singing you will love Geelong Harmony Chorus. Join us for your ME time. You deserve it.
